This education grant is available to 3rd and 4th year undergraduate full-time students enrolled in a science, life, computer sciences, mathematics, technology, and engineering program or in a critical foreign language for national security. Eligible students can receive up to $4,000 for each of their 3rd and 4th years of their 4 year major.

The cumulative required GPA is a minimum of 3.0 for the major. You need to be eligible for a Pell Grant so that the National Smart Grant can be added to your Pell Grant.
